Monday <> Ride Day / Wandering Through Corn Country to Iowa Border on the BMW R1200 GS Liquid Cooled

The view through the BMW windshield as I ride through another small town in southern Minnesota. No planned route or destination, headed south on a mix of paved county and gravel roads towards Iowa, Minnesota border. Then turned it east and back up north.  Rode into Rochester from the south and grabbed a quick supper. Jumped on highway 52 towards St. Paul and chased my shadow home. Rode 263 miles on a variety of roads, just what the GS 1200 was made for...a good adventure ride.
A short break off the road.
An afternoon lunch break on an old farm road surrounded by cornfields. Life is good on the BMW 1200 GS.

My trusty shadow following me home.

Had to stop and take in the view of the Root River south of Rochester, Minnesota.

Good Time Ride on the GS today. Hit the road about 12:30PM, covered 263 miles, home by 8:00PM.
