Minneapolis Eaglerider Motorcycle Riding / June 17th - 23rd in Review

Despite a few rain clouds hanging over Minneapolis this week the motorcycle riding was good. Having a good set of rain gear is what all riders should carry with them. Had a couple good rides in the rain this week. 

 A late night stop at a Perkins Restaurant is a good plan while on the road.

 A Father and Son trip on the Honda Shadow 750 and the Yamaha 950 V Star was an adventure.

They traveled up to Duluth on Lake Superior, then took back roads back home. They had a bit of rain on the way back that made their trip  a challenge. They were all smiles as they told me the story.

 The Harley Davidson Road King is always a favorite.

Jackson Hole Wyoming on a BMW R1200GS

Customer packing up and loaded. Beginning his trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his buddy. They will be on a 7 day trip and arrive at the Jackson Hole EagleRider next Saturday. Seven days on a BMW 1200 GS, living the life.

He flew into the Minneapolis Int. Airport, took a cab straight to my Mpls/St Paul EagleRider location. He packed up and was on the Motorcycle in a few quick hours after arriving in Minneapolis.

 Both riders on adventure motorcycles ready to roll!

The English riders are back after exploring Minnesota on the bikes. They look to have had a great trip.

 Couple from Italy were all smiles after 14 days on an EagleRider motorcycle. They traveled across Upper Michigan into Canada. They visited Kenora, Ontario on the Canadian side of Lake of the Woods before heading back south to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This was a bit of an International week. It is always interesting listening to their stories of the trips and be a part of the memories that they will have of the adventure.

The best part of my job is to help Motorcyclists get on the road for a trip or just a day of riding. A common theme is the excitement of their adventure and to be able to ride motorcycles that they may not have had a chance to do otherwise.

Touring Minnesota on a Harley / 2 Couples from England Come to Explore Minnesota

6 days on Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

Exploring Minnesota for 2 couples from England.

 Leaving Hopkins EagleRider they headed north to Brainerd, Minnesota. Spent the night along the Mississippi River. Stayed in Grand Rapids a night, then rode across Minnesota toward Grand Marais. They stayed a night in Grand Marais, while in that area they took a scenic ride up the Gun Flint Trail Highway. With fog lining the shores of Lake Superior they departed Grand Marais and rode south to Duluth and spent the night along the Harbor near the Lake. The next morning the were greeted to a thick wet fog as they rode up the long highway climb south towards Minneapolis and our Hopkins EagleRider shop.

This was another EagleRider Motorcycle vacation that enabled a group of adventurers to create memories that they will cherish till their next trip...I was glad to be a part of their journey.

Ready to commute the 18 miles to the shop on the EagleRider BMW. A bit snow in the air.

Almost have the Beemer break-in miles ridden. 500 miles on the bike, I'll bring it in for the 600 mile service . Then it will be available for rent, the side bags should be here any day.

 The H D Softail heading out on a 3 day rental. Rider flew in from California, brought his own riding gear. He was dressed for the weather here in Minneapolis, it was 43 degrees when he rode off...I rode the BMW  home tonight, good riding when you're dressed for it.
